Code of Practice and Conduct

  1. We undertake to provide an efficient and effective debt recovery service in all those areas which we have outlined and have been designated as covered by our company.
  2. We undertake to provide all those services which have been clearly advertised as services by this agency.
  3. We undertake not to accept gratuities from any customers which could be perceived as impairing our conduct in the execution of our company's service.
  4. We undertake not to misrepresent our company either by utilizing stationary, or by any inference as being a law firm or solicitor.
  5. We undertake to make monthly settlements of customers monies held in trust or as determined by mutual agreement.
  6. We undertake to honor all written and oral agreements made between ourselves and our customers and to exercise best business practice in the execution of these agreements.
  7. We under take to adopt the standards AS3809 Compliance Programs and fulfill our legal obligations under the Queensland Property Agent and Motor Dealers Act 2000.
  8. We undertake to handle all customer’s matters in accordance with section 60 of the Trade Practices Act.
  9. We undertake to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 as amended and adopt the National Privacy Principles.
  10. We undertake not to supply an opinion on a matter in which the customer’s best interest will be served by referral to an appropriate legal person or law firm.
